Social workers Shri. Harischandra L Naik (Vasco) and Shri. Venkatesh Metri (Galgibaga-Canacona) were presented with the Komarpant Samaj Service Award.
Sanguem MLA and INFOTEC Chairman Subhash Phaldessai and Ravindra Bhavan Margao Chairman Damu Naik felicitated Naik and Metri at ‘Kala-Utsava, Art-Festival’ organized by Kshetriya Komarpant Samaj (KKS) Goa in association with Arts & Culture Department at Shree Dattaguru Temple Hall, Nargarcem-Canacona.
Damu Naik appealed Samaj members to know the history, culture and origin of their community.
“Parents should not lag behind in facilitating education to their children to enrich their knowledge to face future challenges of their lives,” he said.
